How We Market Your Home

TestimonialsThe World Wide Web as a Marketing Tool
The internet is a powerful tool in today’s real estate market. Our presence on the World Wide Web gives your home maximum exposure to potential buyers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our marketing team goes above and beyond the standard postings (see below) and will target other sites appropriate to your property and potential buyers.

World wide access to information about your home is available on:
www.metrolistmls.com (Northern California’s Multiple Listing Service)
www.sacbee.com (The Sacramento Bee)
www.realtor.com (National Association of Realtors® website)
www.craigslist.com (The local version of the popular website)
www.sacramentohomes.net (and of course, on this site)

In addition to presentation on the World Wide Web, our marketing team uses e-mail alerts and opportunities within the local MLS services to alert other professionals about your property. We will also contact friends, neighbors and colleagues using our own e-mail list to alert them to your home’s availability.

Professional Presentation
We will photograph the exterior of your home plus interior rooms and post them to all world wide websites. In addition, we will use these images to create a flyer that we will display in your home so that potential buyers can take home a list of all of your property’s attributes. We will provide you with mini business card flyers to give to friends, family and colleagues, so they can help you ‘get the word out’ about your property..

Traditional Marketing of Your Home
Your home will be listed with our local Multiple Listing Service so that all active agents and brokers can find your home and include it when they schedule tours for their buyer clients. A large Metro Realty sign will be placed in your front yard that will include a sign rider with a toll free informational number that details the attributes of your home.

Advertising
Advertising is only a small part of the overall marketing strategy. The choice of media and frequency of advertising depends a lot on the property and the current market. We choose carefully how we advertise your home. A popular misunderstanding is that advertising sells homes. An ad might generate phone calls to the agent’s office but statistically is usually minimally effective in selling a specific property. If we are not careful, overexposure in any media may give a buyer the impression that the property is distressed or the seller is desperate. We take pride in knowing when, where and how to successfully advertise your home.
